This was a particularly great time for all of us . We were all becoming close friends and becoming very much in tune with each other . Myself and Butch Hawkins (Drummer Extrordinaire) had started this house gig in east Nashville , and had met so many musicians in the process , Ramblin’ was just the right personality and we all got along so well from day one . After meeting Greg Johnson (Bass) , we knew we had a great core of people and a good sound . We started moving on to bigger and better things and playing all over the middle Tennessee area . The four of us – Myself, Butch , Ramblin’ , and Greg , performed and kept in close touch for the next 13 years . Meeting these individuals was quite possibly the best thing that could have happenned to me . I treasure their friendships and we all miss Ramblin’ so very much – he was unique , and very special to us all .
