Rick Greiner (alias Ramblin’ Rick Lawton) was a pro guitarist, composer, and songwriter. He was born on December 26, 1952 in Buffalo, New York and raised in Escondido, California. After a few years on the road based out of Arizona, he relocated to Nashville in 1981 to pursue his song publishing, and became well known playing the club circuit. He was also a vintage guitar expert;  his Guitar Closet guitar shop is still a Nashville and Internet legend.

Rick rambled on to Daytona, Florida and Seattle, Washington before finally resettling along the coastal San Diego area in 2006. Sadly, he died on March 12, 2010 in Encinitas, CA.

Road Survivors (Garrett and Lawton)

Rick collaborated with George (long-term friend and drummer) on a book of their life’s and musical adventures entitled Road Survivors.

George (under the pseudonyms Garrett and Lawton) self-published the book in 2010, fulfilling a promise and offering a lasting tribute to Rick. The book can be ordered from https://www.amazon.com/Road-Survivors-True-Confessions-Band/dp/145370888X
